By utilising Process Mapping and Pareto Charts to analyse in-house approval processes, the number of days from customer loan application to assessment improved by 50% or 10 days, markedly increasing quote conversion rate.

Health

By undertaking a process reveiw of a pathology department, developed a report for the CEO, recommending countermeasures that would result in a minimum of 20% reduction in the turnaround times for the main laboratory, resulting in pathology reports to patients earlier.

Commercial Finance

Successfully managed the GE Real Estate accounting for cash cycle time and accuracy project using both Six Sigma DMAIC and Lean methodologies. The project successfully reduced cycle time, eliminated the root causes of defects and significantly improved the number of unapplied cash items or defects from 32% to 2.5%.

Finance Department

Reviewed key accounts payable processes including interactions with stores and procurement to develop recommendations to improve the end to end processes. The implemented recommendations reduced workloads for accounting staff and freed up accounts payable staff to undertake value added activities. Estimated savings of ½ day, plus reduction in previously unmanageable work load.
